My name is Jill and I am married with 4 kids. My wife and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I work at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles as a transport respiratory therapist. I have the best job ever. I get to ride in the ambulance, fly in the helicopter and occasionally take a jet to pick up sick babies and kids from all around the city and sometimes the country. My wife, Tiffany, stays at home with our 4 children and is going to school to be an esthetician. Some of our best friends host couchsurfers all the time and totally love it, so we figured we may give it a go! We are very easy going people, always up for an adventure and love to travel and enjoy life. We have very busy lives, but always find time to play as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking at possibly hosting on occasion when we can and also we are interested in doing some traveling and meeting new people while doing it! I am always up for meeting new people and connecting with people all over the world. We would prefer females only at this time. We have a large, chaotic family, so you would have to be able to put up with the chaos!

Interests

I love to snowboard, rollerblade, wakeboard, boogie board, surf, and go dirtbike riding. I am always down to try something new and enjoy meeting new people. I love hanging out with friends, going to dinner, shows or a club and just having a good time with good people.

Music: I am a huge alternative music lover. Anything alternative is awesome, my favorite band of all time is Nirvana! I also love the classics like Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Blind melon, as well as Carolina Liar, Collective Soul, Tove Lo, One Republic, Lorde, Keane, Silversun Pickups, Travis, Deathcab for Cutie, the list can go on and on....

Movies: Fight club is one of my favorite movies, also up there are the classic ones like Some Kind of Wonderful, Breakfst Club, 16 Candles.

Books: I love all the Conversations with God books, also love Catcher in the Rye

Saved a baby's life, with the help of many others. I really love my job, it is one of my many passions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching things about my proffesion. I also love to learn. I enjoy trying things out that I have never done before. I also love my children and love to share about all of their adventures, and milestones. If you are up for hearing about them, I can go on for days, they are the best thing ever. I would love to learn about other peoples adventures and travels. I wish I could have traveled more before I settled down, so I think hearing other peoples adventures would be sweet!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to hear about other peoples travel and experiences. I have traveled a lot locally, but haven't had much of a chance to travel abroad. I can share lots of experiences about having and raising kids, and doing it in a same sex marriage. I have lots of experience living an "alternative" lifestyle and would be more than happy to share any of those experiences with anyone. I am very open minded, non-judgemental and open to meeting new people. I am an easy going, very relaxed and chill person. Pretty much down for whatever comes my way!
