ABOUT ME
I lead a very passionate lifestyle by putting a lot of energy into the things I enjoy doing, the dreams I have, and the people I like. I have a lot of interests and hobbies and stay very active pursuing my interests at work, play, and relationships. Some of these things tend to shift with the seasons of life.

PHILOSOPHY

Live simply, give more, expect less, free your heart from hatred & your mind from worries. It's better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way.
Take time and do things right the first time & you won't waste time doing them over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My best friend, Leslie, and I have been to a couchsurfing event in OKC, OK that was held back in June, 2013. Met some wonderful people whom I intend to keep in contact with. I am open to hosting when possible and would like to use this wonderful opportunity to travel and meet new people in different parts of the country.

Interests

Too many interests to count... running,road & mountain biking,crossfit, yoga, playing piano,cooking & having friends over, riding my Honda scooter with my pals around town, exploring new places, photography, refurbishing & finding new purposes for items most see as junk,interior design, motorcycles, camping, laughing, traveling!

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, The Little Rascals movie,comedies,scary movies, nothing you have to think too much to enjoy.:)
Books: Self help books, magazines with pictures :) I have a short attention span.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to speak of but one that sticks out in my mind is an excursion I took while in Atlantis, Bahamas on a speedboat to a desolate island where hundreds of huge iguanas came out of the trees when we pulled up and we fed them grapes right out of our hands!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I enjoy interior design/colors/decorating & building furniture & other things from scraps. Also, I have a very good eye for photography; seeing things in a different way that others may not.
Learn: I'd love to learn how to cook better, expand my recipe repertoire. ALWAYS wanted to learn how to tap dance like the people on the streets in New Orleans ;)
