About Me

ABOUT ME

We are easy going. Have a love for food. Enjoy having friends over, hosting visitors and hanging out.

PHILOSOPHY

A little bit of planning can go a long way... Why pay more when you don't have to?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, we have participated in CSing by hosting, attending the foodie events. As a result, we are getting to know some really nice, informative and fun people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Gotten our 'feet wet' with CSing. We've hosted a few CSer and attended some of the local meet ups. Got to know several fun CSs! Happy to have guests, enjoying the CS gatherings and look forward to surfing in the future.

Interests

Love to eat, travel, watch food network, explore various types of food, always looking for bargains, discounts and love hanging out at home with friends. Also, enjoy helping folks become smarter with their money, discover ways to save and define their financial needs vs wants.

Teach, Learn, Share

**** Hosting tips ****
- Communicate with your surfer/s prior to arrival regarding their interests
- Pick up the local tourist info, fliers/pamphlets, Country websites on activities and upcoming events/festivals
- Talk with your surfer/s about your time and availability to join them and/or assist them to be ready to go out on their own.
- Keep a small toiletry set available. They most likely will not use it, but it is a little something nice and may come in handy for the surfer. In our guest bathroom, we have toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo, body wash, q-tips, floss picks & a washcloth.
- In Singapore the public transportation is great. I have extra transport cards that I provide to my surfers during their stay.
