Italian descent. My grandfather came to America from Sicily @ age 12 with his sister Mary (8) in 1907. Proud of my family heritage. Beside cooking from the home country, I love nature, the beach in particular, and photography. ! Always moving, learning, exploring - I love to hear peoples stories. You will find me at the beach, a yoga session, hanging with friends over coffee or a beer, checking out the new meeting establishment in town, and the latest museum exhibit. In the warmer months, I am biking, hiking, kayaking, and, of course, at the beach ;)

Enjoy getting out of the cognitive whenever possible, body and spirit are more interesting than my over analytic mind. Nature, art, philosophy and my dear friends bring the icing inside the cake, turn a TV dinner into a seven course gastronomique, vanilla ice cream into an Viennese table at a Italian wedding. :)

I have been shooting photography since I was 16. I switched to digital in 2004, with over 30,000 images since then. I've exhibited my work on occasion here and there; I hope to do another exhibit soon. I have the theme and the images, it is the implementation that takes a while (framing isn't as fun as shooting!)

I am just now appreciating music with intense passion. Most recently, music by Peter Bradley Adams is hitting home. We can add Nick Drake to the list as well.

While my chronological age is 56, my real age is probably 36 - quite often beginning another chapter - with the best yet to come.

I can show you where I've been and done in digital images - maybe just a few of 30K image - ha! And/or my views on capturing images. I love to talk about my life's work - designing learning. I design and deliver workshops for a living. Specifically, I teach managers how to be good managers, help teams work together,set up mentoring relationships, and help people go on inner journeys of self discovery to help live a rich, full life. Besides the technical jargon of my work - I enjoy fun, playful banter with intelligent people and/or experiencing a sunset together while waiting for the final shades of blue gray before the dark sky covers us.

Starting learning Italian - but didn't get very far - better to speak it each day.
