I am transplanted from Ohio (USA) to Scottsdale, Arizona (USA) to be with family who also transplanted here. I have adjusted life from the cold wintry elements to the blazing hot summers. Scottsdale was never in my thoughts my entire lifetime till I first ever set foot. Considering owning beautiful home, a nice car, and have a good career as a REALTOR®, I've done well, though I'm far from perfect and could use a little adjustment here and there. We all learn through trial and errors, but it's all human nature. Though Ohio is always my home, I like lifestyle here. Part of my job as a real estate agent is to sell the lifestyle here in Arizona.

Overall, I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle here, the gym, culture, action, and trying new things in general. I enjoy traveling and have many upcoming plans ahead.

I enjoy dinners at an upscale restaurant, a bike ride, a weekend road trip, something cultural such as museums, going to a water park, heading places like a coffee shop, or anything in general. I am open. When you see me watching sports, I am fans of most Ohio sports teams.

Overall fun, hard and smart worker, and so much to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet with anyone and learn more about them and their cultures. Considering I'm a lone occupant of a 4 bedroom home, I doubt I'll invite visitors to stay at my home other than friends and family, though I can be open if I feel like it's a good fit with the potential guest. I hope soon I will share my home permanently to someone very special.

For my friends, the maximum number of nights I'd have them stay at my home is no more than two nights. We live in a resort community, so I want them to experience everything our place has to offer and tell all the stories how Scottsdale is a great place to visit. 😁

To only locals I know: Whether you're my best friend or not, If you have an emergency such as your AC not working when it's 120 degrees outside, water heater not working, or any valid emergencies, reach out to me. I get it... If you're contacting me that any of those went out due to the fact you didn't pay your bills, doesn't sound like you're responsible enough to stay with me. Otherwise, please let me know. You don't generally get when you don't ask. 😁

If you travel outside Arizona, I have to brag, but my home state of Ohio is bar none the best summer vacation destination in the country. Check out theme parks, Cedar Point and Kings Island. Columbus Zoo, home of Jungle Jack Hanna is a place to check out, and the Wilds safari. If you're a golfer, Ohio has some of the best golf courses with plenty of terrain. Great museums including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame and COSI. It has its own popular island destination in the lake called Put-in-Bay. Ohio is the birthplace of aviation. The heart of it all is in Ohio, but just don't go in the winter time. 😂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many to mention! I am an amazing man. I would say overcoming the challenges of being in 11 different countries in Asia, Oceana, and Central America) as a solo traveler. European places were in groups.

On top, as of 1st Quarter 2023, I completed a solo trip all over southeast Asia that revolved around 6 countries. Experiences were amazing, and I returned.

I am currently in Thailand and plan to return to Arizona, USA in early 2025.
