I'm Jim, and I'm a teacher-- I teach English online while travelling. I love meeting new people, practicing languages (I've been learning Russian for years, and I've just started Japanese as well) and going to rock concerts and other events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big question! I really like rock music-- particularly old Russian/Ukrainian rock like Viktor Tsoi, Vopli Vidopliassova or DDT. I'm also a big fan of anime-- my favourites are Neon Genesis Evangelion, Clannad, and Attack on Titan. Films wise I think I have pretty average taste-- I like most films! (and also like old Bollywood movies :P )

Of course, I don't really care what I'm watching/listening to-- it's all good to me, and I'm always happy to try out new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't think of anything good here, so instead I'm going to put "managed to lock myself in own apartment once and had to call a locksmith to let me out"... pretty embarrassing, but everyone was quite impressed at how I'd managed to get into that situation. Particularly as I did have a key!
