I am a writer, editor and publisher. Founder of the West Chester Story Slam, a monthly storytelling event that ran from 2009 thru 2018. Before that, I was a television producer at QVC for 17 years. When not writing or visiting a restaurant, I am often riding my mountain bike or cycling on the back roads of Chester County.

My favorite authors include: Raymond Carver, Flannery O'Connor, Ernest Hemingway, John Updike, Lydia Davis.

I listen to a wide range of rock 'n roll, from the Ramones, Bob Mould, Iron and Wine, White Stripes, etc. My two sons and I are always swapping music.

Favorite movies include: Roma, The Graduate, American Beauty, Little Miss Sunshine, Sideways, Goodfellas and of course, The Godfather.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I once traveled solo to Chamonix, France to ski and snowboard for a week. I skied the Vallee Blanche, a glacier. I've also skied and snowboarded throughout Vermont and Utah.

Standing inside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris as well as standing in a room full of Van Goghs at the Musee D'orsay were both inspiring moments. Watching the sun rise while on the beach in Valla, Australia. I'm not a country music fan, but Willy Nelson is the coolest person I ever met.
