About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Continue to seek new experiences through travel, food, wine, etc. happiness through travel and exploration of this awesome wacky world of ours.
ABOUT ME
I am from the States, Chicago to be exact. I started traveling in my mid twenties, got the travel bug, quit my job to travel and work on boats all over the world. After nearly 5 years of that I have found myself back on land, attempting to find a balance between travel and work and family and friendas.
PHILOSOPHY
Listen and learn from everything and everyone around you. Treat others with kindness, work hard, and good things will most likely happen. Travel when you can, you're only here once, might as well see as much as you can....and drink wine, wine is good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have backpacked through Europe and stayed with some great CSers in Normandy (Caen)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I decided to CS while in Caen. I was a little nervous but with a positive attitude I made some great memories and friends. That was 7 years ago and to this day I tell the story. It was incredible to spend time with locals and I really came to appreciate their culture. Couchsurfing is a great way to spread good positive vibes.
Interests
Music is huge for me. I like every kind of music, from bluegrass to EDM. I like it all. Traveling is always on my mind, I enjoy a good adventure. I am also very interested in laughter with good people and great conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything from jazz to hip hop, with a little bluegrass and oldies mixed in. I personally love all types of music and can find value in every genre. I also love history and historic novels and dramas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 26 day journey on a sailboat from St. Maarten to Mallorca; crossing an ocean with 5 strangers was very unique and very fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
If I could teach you something it would be that...listening is highly disregarded by many people and in my opinion a person who actively listens lives a happier life. In reality, I want to learn more and more and keep learning; that's what CS is so great. Meeting like minded people is a good thing in life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My sense of humor and I can help cook.
