ABOUT ME

I'm a gay man in New York. I am an entrepreneur with a growing business that keeps me busy.

I travel a lot and have spent a lot of time abroad, mostly for work. My goal lately is to travel abroad more and meet more people from around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I just read something that made a lot of sense to me: "It doesn't matter how long you have forgotten, only how soon you remember." I think that is a pretty powerful statement and a good philosophy to live by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people so far and I've met others through my friends Dan and Laura (also couchsurfers). I stayed with my first host in Manila in March 2008 and it worked out great.

Interests

I like to play tennis and run in the park but don't do either often enough. I like hanging out in cafes, drinking coffee and watching people. I like walking around and exploring. I like to read, a mixture of personal growth and good fiction. I love chocolate in any form, but mostly dark. I like my work but like being away from work more. I like the BBC and NPR.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise from the top of Mount Fuji was pretty amazing. Definitely high on my list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn Chinese. :) I speak decent Japanese and French, but I am not qualified to teach either.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have two cats. There is laundry in the basement. My place is close to everything.
