So far I have had great experiences hosting people at our place in Cairns; hopefully many more to come.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted many different nationalities in Cairns, and have surfed in 8 countries so far. In 2015 I embarked on a 4 month trip through South America, starting in Chile and finishing in Colombia.

I've learned that hosts can be very generous whilst not being as appreciated as they should. As a surfer, I feel that I go out of my way to ensure I am not intrusive, and to ensure that I can leave the host with a smile on their face who hopes to see me again somewhere else on the planet!
