About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Survive law school and get to Europe

ABOUT ME

21 year old reared on Salinger, Woolf and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. Outside of the general, I ought to mention I'm vegan (vegetarian when travelling), freegan, anti-consumerism and into fading aristocracy boarding school coming-of-age robot/human narratives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host when I can and surf when abroad. Also happy to be amusing to any couch surfers hosted by friends and other good hearted strangers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed with some great people for a little in New York and Vermont. Had an amazing vegan Thanksgiving in the latter with the sweetest family in the northern hemisphere (admittedly operating off a small sample size). This was before I fully realised what Thanksgiving was commemorating... ignorant white boy I know.

Returned and moved out the parents and began hosting. Hosted two French people (separately) and had a wonderful time with them. Both ended up staying longer than intended and we were very sad to see them go!

Most recent surfer was a German guy who'd never watched Eurovision before coming to a uni party with our household and getting immersed.

Interests

Pretty eclectic interests, veering from bawling my eyes out to Tolstoy to dancing to Missy Elliot. I'm interested in people who are interested, either in the world at large or in whatever their crazy sincere passion happens to be.

Also into tennis.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Mountain Goats consistently blow my mind, along with Into the Wild and Bladerunner. Books are almost too innumerable to list, but suffice it to say I am willing to spend $25 on a library card at Princeton so I can read the Salinger short stories hidden there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently amazing thing I´ve done is maybe yelling at the Pacific ocean outside a Hare Krishna temple atop an enormous sand dune in Peru alongside complete strangers and the people I am closest to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, South Korea, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia
