ABOUT ME

Hello!
My name is Jimena, but you can call me Mena. I am a recent college graduate from Guatemala and am travelling to Australia and surrounding areas as I await for a decision on my Masters Program. I graduated with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Gender and Sexualities Studies. Recently I was living and working in Berlin for a small non-profit organization, and in the future I would like to focus working with community development and women (preferably in Latin America). I have lived/studied/worked in four different countries and I also speak three languages. I love meeting new people and traveling, and I have been a dancer my whole life as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard great things about past experiences by friends who did couchsurfing and the locals they were able to meet and the unique experiences they were able to have. I think it is a great way to get a piece of another culture and have a different type of exchange.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of embarrassing stories about my travels, I also really love to cook and would love to cook for you! I can share some of my language skills and dancing skills gladly as well :)
