Overview
About Me
I am a registered nurse by profession and a researcher at heart. I have been to a few Asian countries, mostly through scholarship grants. I believe that attending conferences is the best way to combine education, travel, and socialization. Plus, you get to meet awesome people who are destined to be the world's leaders. I do statistical consultation as part-time job to fund my extended stay after each conference.
I am an INTP (google Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). I love to drink a few bottles of San Miguel beer and discuss world politics, philosophy, or even science and medicine. Normal conversations are also fine with me. Indeed, I prefer talkative people because I am a reserved person and only open up to someone I knew for quite some time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and know their stories. However, I am also an introvert. This means I need to recharge every after socialization. I would be happy to host anyone but my place is quite far from the downtown. Economics-wise, it is best to stay somewhere central in Manila. Nonetheless, I can always tour you around (whenever I'm free) to some secret spots only locals knew, depending on your interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like indie music (e.g. Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, Wild Nothing) but also listen to spectrum of genres like jazz, reggae, alternative, and pop. For movies, I watch rom-coms, documentaries, and thought-provoking flicks with true cinematic artistry. My favorite book is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach first aid and research methods if you want. But I think the best thing I can share is my time.
