About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to stay as true to the Couch Surfers ideal as possible! Travel the world.. then repay the favour!

ABOUT ME

I'm a guy who was lucky enough to know for years what he wanted to do with his life- I'm about a year away now from achieving the first major part of that dream and I'll be an elementary/primary school teacher. I love to socialise, be it with or without alcohol, but I equally find total contentment in just sitting and, well, living. Hooray!

PHILOSOPHY

If it's out there and I have the chance to do it, I would be a fool to be restricted by fear. Taking that first deep breath and taking the first big plunge was the turning point in my life, and it's now how I live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you're needing a spot and I have one, come along- meeting up for a coffee definitely never hurt!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few people at the student pad in Leicester, but not as of late due to the fact that I'm away travelling... I'll get back on it though once I return to England.

Interests

Football, dancing, socialising, meeting new people, trying new things, different sports, new cultures, new languages!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all films, I have a massive collection. That actually goes for music too, with interests ranging from classical to opera to indie to drum and bass to death metal! I love to read as well, and my taste in literature spans everything from fantasy to sci fi to philosophy books... the list could go on, but you'd get bored!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've thus far done two years in a summer camp in Pennsylvania, followed by travelling around the states. The experience has changed who I am and my outlook on life! Lived in Poland for 6 months, that was many kinds of cool; currently I'm living/working in Vancouver, BC but travelling across the USA (again!) too. Most amazing thing though? I get to work with kids and shape my career around them; sweet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do latin and ballroom dancing, have been for about three years now and I love it! I'm not a bad grill cook either, thanks to working as dogsbody in a grilled chicken restaurant...
