About Me

I'm a self taught programmer/musician and my girlfriend is an electrochemist. We're traveling with our cat (only for the month of April 2024) so if you can't host pets, she might already be at a pet hotel because we plan to ride a lot of roller coasters on this trip! - https://www.instagram.com/retrotournament

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually deleted my profile a long time ago when CS was changing, but just recently we were sleeping in my car up in the mountains and some insane person tried to break in and I almost drove us off the cliff. So yeah.. I'm back and looking for safe driveways to car camp in :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I give all my hosts a harmonica gift and I can teach some fun music tricks if you want!

I'm all about getting to know people in person and I love learning about different walks of life :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I created an epic 16 player retro gaming system and I can set up a hilariously fun and memorable event at your house if you're interested - https://youtu.be/2wviPhV5Wcg

We just need a living room or backyard space that can fit 8 to 16 people. If you don't have enough chairs, I could probably find something or we'll ask people to BYOC ha. Floor seating can always work too. I'll have everything else - projector, portable screen with stand, small speaker, etc. I can run things off battery if needed.

Event could go from 7-9pm or whatever works with you. The sound level won't be too loud, but your next door neighbor will probably hear it so make sure they're cool.

You can tell me any house rules like if you're okay with people bringing food and drinks. I can bring plates, cups, napkins, utensils, trash bags, etc.

My only rule is that people should not drink alcohol if they suck at drinking. Please stop urinating on my game controllers. Just kidding, I've done hundreds of similar events all over North America and attendees have always been respectful to the hosts and their house. You can review the guest list before I message people your address too.

Let me know if you have any questions!
