Overview
About Me
originally from Ukraine | my hobbies are playing guitar , working out, taking pictures, swimming and traveling around the world
We live in a huge 2 bedrooms' apartment. It's just me and my younger brother. He's name is Sergey. He is also on Couchsurfing (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/sergey-sheludko-2)
Please read " Why I'm on Couchsurfing", I did my best to explain in a short way what you can expect from staying at my place and what kind of person I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Here are some things I did in a past with my couch-surfing and airbnb guests:
1.Travelling to closest beautiful and memorable places.
If I got 2-3 days off and I was planning to travel somewhere just for these couple days ( like Santa Barbara or Sequoia Park, or even all the way to Las Vegas etc) I don't mind to take my guests with me. As long as you don't have your own special plans.
2. Hanging out on South Beach, Wynwood and Everglades.
These 3 plays are my closest option to go and chill on weekends ( within an hour to drive), again you're welcome to join me
3. Working out / daily physical activities.
Physical exercises are my daily routine. I do stuff like:
*running
*swimming
*lifting heavy weights
*simple calisthenics exercises ( pull-ups, chin-ups, backflip on a pull-up bar, push-ups etc.)
*swimming (big fan, doing it all my life)
*playing ping-pong
*playing valley-ball
4. Going out to the bar / music festival. Enjoying nightlife.
I'm honestly not a big fan of nightlife, but sometimes I do it also.
5. Simply get high (smoke marijuana) and listen or play music.
This is optional. If you don't smoke, nobody will force you ;)
6. Watch Netflix and chill.
If you're not really outgoing person and feel really bored, we can just simply watch a movie, drink tea with cookies, talk about life and chill.
(P.s. - again, if you have your own plans for your trip, I won't bother you at all. And you can always ask me questions and advices what to do/ not to do here)
Interests
We have some simple rules for guests. I just didn't know where to put it, so I'm going to write it down here,
1. Clean the place.
In your very last day ( or an evening before) we asking you to clean up all the area you've been using:
*Kitchen
*Living room
*Bathroom
All you have to do is to sweep and map the floor, clean the dishes, and wipe up the kitchen and bathroom area.
2. Cook one of your favorite dishes,
Share your experience and culture by cooking one of your favorite dishes! You don't have to buy ingredients (food), we will take care of it
3. Be respectful
Very common sense, after hosting a lot of people and having hundreds of roommates, I feel like it's important to leave this notice.
*Please don't ask for a ride if we're not planning to go that direction. Take uber/lyft, it's super cheap. Or ask us for help with this if you need.
*Don't be loud late at night if everyone is sleeping, unless we all hangout together
* Don't leave a mass in living room, kitchen, bathroom or anywhere in the apt.
* Always be honest and ask straightforward if you don't like something or just not comfortable with some things ( like for example you just don't like the music we listen, or scared of my parrots, or you just simply have a headache and need to take a nap_
4. No guests overnight ( means your friends or people you met here)
- running
- working out
- traveling
- music
- guitar
- swimming
- parks
- ping pong
- netflix
- 420
- ukraine
