About Me

Hey there. I'm Jimmie, a self described world traveler extraordinaire! I love to see new places and meet new people. I believe that love and friendship are two of the most valuable things we can share, and I do my best to have my actions reflect that belief.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Right now, I call Mexico City my home. I have lots of love for my hometown, so if you're going to be headed to the desert let me know. I'd be happy to give you a few pointers.

Mexico City is incredible!!!! I came on vacation in September 2014 and haven't left. I love the food, the night life, the gay scene, and all of the amazing cultural museums and historical sites that are EVERYWHERE.

I believe that the measurement of success is happiness and fulfillment, not money. While money is important, for me it's a tool to help me maintain my freedom and see more of this amazing world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My place in Mexico City is located in the heart of the Roma Norte neighborhood. I love showing people around this city. I hope I can help others see that Mexico City is a safe, fun and enriching experience for travelers from all around the world. Plus, the food is amazing!

I've surfed many a couch in my day. Please reach out if you're planning to come to Mexico City. I'd love to host and help you be as comfortable as possible.

Interests

Cultural experiences like the many Mexica ruins around the city and in nearby pueblos are my forte. I love the beach too. So, if I'm not in Mexico City I'm probably at a beach somewhere. Surfing, reading, and anthropology are among my many interests.
