ABOUT ME

I like biking around the city where I live, Boston, but recently got to enjoy a week of biking around NYC.

I currently do freelance work, so it gives me a lot of control over my schedule, which allows me to travel, and more importantly, work while traveling, so I don't become just a 'tourist'.

I like going to shows and music venues, indie, punk, rock, some synth music creeping in, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, and have hosted once so far, and will be hosting for others in December. I got verified and donated, because I believe great things come from DIY and crowd sourcing type communities, and being able to meet new people on these travels is great. I wrote some people when I was in Austin for advice on where to go that wasn't touristy, and even went to a house party another CS was throwing in Austin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted once, and I have met up with other CS friends before, but have done a lot of couch surfing outside of this web community before. Places I have been and shared with friends are New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Philly, and Boston.
