About Me
I'm a super easy going guy that doesn't much like typing...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I return from Afghanistan in July, my boyfriend and I plan to do a 3 month road trip around the U.S. and Canada, hopefully couchsurfing and staying with friends along the way. Neither of us have done it before but all my friends who couchsurf really enjoy it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Perhaps it's my easy going nature, but I enjoy listening to almost any kind of music. I think there's beauty in most everything if you're open to it. That said, my go to jams are Incubus, Muse, The Killers, MGMT (apparently I stopped discovering about new artists in 2004...) and hardcore punk, which are definitely the most fun concerts to go to. Based on gay club culture, I end up hearing a lot of top 40, some of which I enjoy, some not so much.
Enjoy the usual mix of action, comedy, and indie movies. Currently reading Steven King's The Stand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My drumline (Blue Knights) won a national championship. Definitely an amazing experience to see that much hard work pay off.
Teach, Learn, Share
I do all of these.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I walk the line between introvert and extrovert. I'm down for chatting about any and everything or I can comfortably sit in a room with someone else completely doing my own thing (which seems surprisingly rare.) So don't ever feel obligated to entertain me or feel put out by me.
Plus I'll bring a bottle of wine.
Countries I’ve Visited
Chile, China, Cuba, Guatemala, Laos, Malta, Russian Federation, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates
Countries I’ve Lived In
