I'm social. I love travel. Couch surfing is a great medium to bring the two together.

As I said before, I'm very social and also have a lot of energy. I love people, love learning about their lives, love hearing about their opinions and experiences. Meeting new and interesting people is one of my favorite things in life. I grew up in Chicago and moved back after school. I now have moved to a home in the suburbs that has a lot of space and I feel that opening the doors to travelers is a natural fit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got on this because of a friend. He has been both a couchsurfer and hosted couchsurfers for several years. I've had an opportunity to meet some of the couch surfers that he has hosted and they were really good people so I thought that I would do the same and offer my home to those visiting Chicago.

Several times I've found myself in a new city that seems so incredible but so foreign and intimidating. It's hard to break down that barrier when you're alone in a new place. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do it and I would love to be the one that helps you enjoy Chicago.
