Overview
About Me
I'm driven by a love for new places, cultures, food, and art. The best part of any journey is the incredible people you meet along the way and the memories you make. My husband and I have been traveling for a long time and have both hosted in our home and also been guests on various platforms for many years. I'm excited to explore this community.
Professionally my background is in architecture and I design eco-friendly homes and spaces. I'm a dedicated animal lover (especially dogs), a vegetarian, and always up for new adventures. I’m drawn to museums, street art, film, music, and cooking. I also enjoy reading, working out, and practicing yoga to stay grounded.
Most of all I'm looking forward to connecting with other like-minded fellow good humans!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always loved the idea of sharing and community. It would be wonderful if we could make our home available so someone can experience New York City. Hopefully we'll make some great friends and meet fellow explorers with whom we can share our travels and experiences.
As a guest, I’ll primarily use this platform when I’m traveling solo, and I think it would be amazing if it also helped me connect with new people and build friendships along the way!

I'm usually reading non-fiction. Currently on my nightstand: Chasers of the Light by Tyler Gregson, How Not to Die by Michael Greger, and Notorious by Maureen Dowd.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently swam with sharks and some really huge manta rays in Moorea, French Polynesia!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn more about your local cuisine and how to cook it from any chefs out there! Also love connecting with fellow art lovers and visiting local galleries/museums.
Currently practicing my French and Spanish as well.
And any life wisdom you'd like to share is always appreciated! Namaste!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you with pretty much anything design related in your home, both from an architectural standpoint as well as interior design elements. I love the challenge of working with whatever is existing in a home and transforming it. Also happy to share my experiences as a gay/queer human in this world and teach you anything you need to know about LGBTQ + culture. **I also don't mind pet sitting or walking dogs - love them**
