Hello,
I am 26, from the UK and have been traveling around India for the past 6 months. I have just moved to Berlin for the summer and am in the process of applying for jobs and am waiting to move into an appretment on the 15th May. My interests are photography, live music, travel, good food /cooking, i am currently writing a book and enjoy socialising in the city. I am a clean, relaxed, friendly and am very easy going and even if i only stay for 1 day, this would be a huge help right now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very keen to meet new people in the city - its allways good to widen your social group i belive. I have found an appartment however this isnt availbale until 15th May, so i guess I am on couch surfing to live a little cheaper untill then - i currently stay in a hostel which is rapidly eating up my savings and not the best nights sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like such a wide variety. Rock, Funk & Soul, Reggae, Blues, House/Techno, Electronic - basically anything thats got a funky beat and which makes me want to dance! Not a big fan of chart / pop music and generally stay away from the new wave of Dubstep but am open to pretty much everything apart from that!
Films - I like many of the classics (Tarantino, Scorsese, P.T Anderson etc.), but I also enjoy european cinema - Spanish, French and British Films interest me alot. Basically anything but Fast and Furious 7 type films . . . . I also really like HBO drama/Comedy - Sopranoes, Wire, Curb.
Books - depends what mood i am in - i usually have a few books on the go - currently I am reading Into the Wild, the Satanic Verses and the Bible Code.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say travelling from the furthest South point of India, up into the Himalayas. I got to see so much, meet some amazing people and really experince what the true India was like, (not just the tourist areas). I had good times, bad times and wierd experinces but this trip was genuinly amazing and such an eye opening experince - I really appriciate what I have got after seeing how hard some people have to struggle just to survive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - honestly not sure about this one. I am not a teacher, i am a talker. Im sure we can find something which I can inform you about though. I did study human geography and am interested in world events, capitlism, and how we can advance as a species - so i guess if your interested in this we can have a good chat about the world!
Learn - I am allways looking to learn, i believe you should never stop! most people i meet I learn something from!
Share - I usually like to introduce people to music, I think this is such a good conversation starter, so I can promise I will show you a few good bands and hopefully widen your musical knoweldge a little.
