ABOUT ME

My girlfriend and I are both from New York and we are currently studying abroad at the University of Oulu in Finland and plan to travel as much as we can while we are in Europe.

We have been together for over 3 years now. We are so excited to be in a new country, and can't wait to make new experiences together.

We are fun people who like to enjoy our time by making new experiences, meeting new people, and venturing. We love to always keep life interesting. We are both kind-hearted people, and are just looking to make the best out of life.

When we settle and have a house of our own we will be happy to lend our couch to the community! but that might not be for a long time :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but great experiences from our hosts. Meeting people from another country really lets you immerse yourself in a new culture. When we couldn't find hosts in a few countries, it just felt like we weren't getting the full experience.

Interests

Hockey, traveling, meeting new people, making new experiences, sharing stories and cultures, laughing

Kristi loves cats, anything cute, good food, and the color pink.

Jimmy LOVES hockey, loves being active, and eats too many sweets. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy comedies, action movies, historical movies, and of course romantic movies.

As for music, really anything that has a good beat to it.

I enjoy reading Stephen King's books and short stories, Kristi absolutely loves the Harry Potter Book Series as well as movies, and just enjoys reading good books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying in Finland and meeting all the amazing and friendly natives.

Teach, Learn, Share

We hope to share much of our culture with everyone as well as learn about their cultures. We wouldn't mind a lesson in cooking!

We could help people with their English, and teach them anything else that there is we can teach!

And we definitely DEFINITELY want to be experienced at another language!
