ABOUT ME

I am currently working as a Primary School teacher. Finished my degree a couple of years ago but didn't want to just settle down into a job and buy a house. Doing that seems like self inflicted imprisonment to me, especially when there are so many amazing places in this world to see and great people to meet along the way.

So I am leaving Australia in April to travel the world until I I've seen enough to feel content to come back or until I find something I like so much that I don't want to leave it.

I have worked as a Real Estate agent and Primary School teacher and plan to get my TESOL qualification before I leave so that I can teach English as well as curriculum in other countries. Hopefully these things can help to keep food in my mouth along the way.

I will begin my trip in Thailand, travelling through Asia for a few months. Then over to the UK to work then through Europe. Then who knows from there? Nothing is too planned, definitely open to deviation. Go with the flow. Trust in the universe.

I am hoping I can meet some interesting people along the way and I am sure I will :)

I believe that success should not be measured by a what a person owns, but by their own sense of happiness. Happiness is what it's all about. Being happy and making other people happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be staying on the couches of the very nice people that will have along the way and when I settle down in an area I too will give my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City and I had an amazing time. Met some really great people. Local knowledge is the best!!
Also, my friend has hosted couch surfers at his house and each of them has been very cool and interesting people.
