ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded and friendly guy from expensive but beautiful Switzerland. As a trained computer scientist it's my job to sit in front of a computer, programming software, to earn my money, unfortunately ;-) This monotonous work brought me to look about a new challenge and so I started studying secondary school teacher. Interested in nature and music I chose to study the subjects biology, physics, geography and music. Since Oct '09 I'm on a around-the-world trip and try to learn as much as possible of different cultures, languages, environments etc. I like to get in touch with new people, learning their way of life, share experiences or just hang-out and have a drink (or two).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I'm back home, I definitely want to host people from all over the world to give back what I experienced so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed my first time in New Zealand and was overwhelmed of our host. He was not at home (because he had to work and was away) but he explained us where we could find the key and so we stayed in a house like kings, with wonderful sea view and a lovely garden patio.
In Santiago de Chile I surfed different couches and went out with CS people to experience the Chilean way of life.
