About Me
I studied journalism and history in NYC, then worked in TV news for a bit. I got restless and ended up in Lebanon working toward a graduate degree. I live in Beirut for most of the year and work as a freelance reporter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I love traveling and living abroad, I've realized that I haven't seen much of my own country. So, this summer, I'm undertaking a three-month solo roadtrip across America. I'll be camping most of the way, but there are a few towns where I want to stop, get to know the place, and meet new people.
I'm new to couchsurfing, but will certainly return the favor and host people on my own couch...when I finally settle down and buy one.
Interests
I love hiking and camping, especially in the mountains and wilderness. I travel light and move fast. Outside, I enjoy archery, fishing, and dirt biking. Inside, I love cooking, reading, and a good whisky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once in Southern Lebanon, I had to ask a man who called himself "Hizbollah Rambo" to jumpstart my car. Also, Nancy Grace once sent me the ;) emoji.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a quiet person, but I'm told that I'm good conversation over a beer. And if you're up for a challenge, I can teach you some Arabic.
