About Me

I grew up on the east coast of the US, and after going to school moved out to Seattle for work. I spent the last couple of years working as a developer at Amazon on the drone delivery project, and now I'm taking a break from work to go explore the world! I am really eager to meet new people and create new experiences with them.

I've been traveling for nearly a year now, and I have had some incredible experiences! I trekked through Nepal, lived in a van in New Zealand for 5 months, hitchhiked through Patagonia.

I'm in Bolivia at the moment, looking to continue the adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really wanted to host couch surfers while I lived in Seattle, but I never worked it out with my roommates. While as of today I have never actually surfed myself, I have done a fair bit of traveling around asia and europe and have met tons of people who have done it.

During my travels in the past I mainly stayed at youth hostels and AirBnB's, but I'd love to get in to proper surfing on my next adventure since I will not be as rushed moving place to place!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In January this year, I backpacked through Patagonia de Chile for a month. To make it affordable, I slept in my tent every night and hitchhiked everywhere. Fortunately, the beard and the smell are mostly gone now :D

I have a small library and am always happy to trade books if you want to bring me an interesting new one.
