ABOUT ME

I am originally from New Jersey, U.S.A. After finishing my MBA in London and Thailand (where I surfed and hosted extensively) I'm now working for a multi national media company in NYC. Although my job keeps me pretty inundated, I like to think I'm a full-time employee, and part-time world traveler =). I'm 100% Portuguese and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, sharing stories, and seeing what this world has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In all the countries I’ve visited, I remember the sites, people, food, experiences, etc. they are a big part of how I remember my experience. The opportunity to give that feeling back to other fellow travelers and be a positive reflection of how they remember America, New York/New Jersey and the American culture is such a fulfilling feeling.

- 5x Ironman Triathlete
- Saw all of “The Big Five” in Kenya
- White-water rafted through the Grand Canyon…twice
- Hiked a Mayan ruin in Guatemala
- Lived here n London 1 year; Thailand 5 months
- Dove the Great Barrier Reef
- Traveled 60+ countries
- 4 wheeling around Santorini
- Witnessed the majestic beauty of the Icelandic Northern Lights
- Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro
- Hiked Patagonia
- 16hr car ride in Laos...-_-
- Met Tom Cruise
- Met "The Girl From Ipanema"
- Shook hands with the VP of the Philippines
- Skydived
- Solo-piloted an airplane
- Hot Air Balloon ride over Bagan, Myanmar
- Took in New Years in Times Square ('10), Moscow ('13), Reykjavik ('17)
- St. Patty's day in Dublin
- Stood atop the Tower of Piza....Also, I worked in a hospital for 6 years, and I got to meet with the Doctor who's New Years I ruined on January 1, 1989.... I bought him lunch 22 years later as a thank you/apology =)
