About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe diem! Staying alive long enough to see the world and seeing the world long enough to live the change.

ABOUT ME

Funny and quirky, I hope. But probably that I worry a lot and get inside my head quite a bit. But overall I think they would say I am laid back and love to try interesting things and meet interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent nights on friends' couches but I always thought it was called bumming. Huh, now I can be ok with it. Cool. Spent lots of trips with local people and it is way more fun than getting a hotel.

Interests

Traveling (duh), playing guitar, languages, books and reading, movies, soccer (football to the rest of the world), basketball and most sports, talking about things

Music, Movies, and Books

Books-wise I love many things. Used to be enthralled by the classics like Charles Dicken's Great Expectations, but enjoying the new books too. Like Jhumpa Lahiri, Paulo Coehlo, Ted Dekker, Jack Krakauer. I like pretty much anything that is not so cliche and poorly written.

Music I like the acoustic feel stuff like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Howie Day, Keane, Coldplay, etc. But I like anything except maybe country and trance music. Starting to get into the older guys like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

Movies I am open except for the horror flicks. Maybe it was the old witch in Robin Hood but I can't stand the scary movies. Like action, comedy, drama (if not too dramatic) and other stuff. Got dragged to First Wives Club once- did not like it!
