Well I'm hoping to meet REAL people rather than stay in hotels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet - But within 3 months I do hope to be able to tell a very different story.

Intereses

I just love meeting brand new people and places. Town, city country, all of these things appeal to my inquisitive nature. I love sport and exercise. I can watch many sports but I much prefer to take part. Walking running swimming and cycling are my biggest passions. I'm most at home when I'm travelling, either alone or with new friends or old.

I've travelled in many places but it's mountains that always take my breath away. The Dolomites of Italy, the Himalaya, Alps. They're all gorgeous but it's the hills of my beloved Scotland that I keep going back to.
Man made structures like Borobadur on Java, or Karnak in Egypt are incredibly inspiring. I can never really believe man could do such things 2000 years ago. Awe Inspiring :-)
