Hi!

I'm Jimte and I live in Holland and I find this whole "About Me'' part pretty hard, but I'll give it a go.
I like to travel, meet new people and experience new experiences eventhough I get slightly anxious when I have to undertake new things in life. I like to listen to music and produce my own music. I like to read and to teach. Especially teaching! At the moment I am studying to become an English teacher and one of the most satisfying things about this, is knowing that the students I'm teaching are having fun whilst simultaneously learning the English language.
I like to have a beer now and then and laugh about lame jokes. That's about it. Oh! I am also really easy going. ;)
PS: The things I'm interested in really fluctuate. Sometimes I'm really into movies, other times I love to read etc.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I need to stay abroad for half a year in 2017. I need to do this (such an obligation) for my Bachelor Degree. I am studying to become an English teacher and I need to stay abroad for half a year to completely master the language. I'm allowed to do whatever I want: Studying, working, volunteering etc. I think Couchsurfing is the ideal option to stay abroad for a while.

兴趣

I like to walk my dog and spend time with my friends. Going to the gym has become a hobby of mine and I sometimes like to listen to lectures of people online; Alan wats, Terence Mckenna. I enjoy playing my guitar and singing from time to time. Not to mention visiting other countries and going to music concerts.

Favorite music: I don't have a particular taste in music so here are various artists I like: Ben Howard, Slipknot, Crystal Fighters, Mac Demarco, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Vince Staples.

Favorite Movies: 500 days of Summer, Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight, The Wolf of Wallstreet, Old Boy, Three headed shark attack.

Favorite Books: Into the Wild, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, The one hundred year old man who climbed out of a window and disappeared, The girl who saved the king of sweden.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Tripping over at high speed when I was skiing, because I suddenly found myself off piste, and after a tumble or 50, finding myself sitting in the snow, happily realizing that I am extremely good at falling.
