About Me

Born and raised in Atlanta. Mom's from Poland, Dad's from Louisiana. I was lucky enough to have parents that wanted to travel, and they took me lots of places as a kid. I went to UGA, then UGA Law. For a few summers I worked at a Boy Scout cam and was a raft guide on a white-water river. I love to be outside, play guitar, (just play generally), meet people and have new experiences. I make iPhone apps. I like mountain biking, hiking, photography and traveling. Moonrise Kingdom is my favorite movie, but The Dark Knight is also excellent. I read mostly non-fiction, but I'm up for whatever. I like all kinds of music, but have been on a rap kick lately. I'm easy going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've let people stay with me before, and I've met some amazing people that way. This one guy was roller blading(!) across the USA, from NYC, to Atlanta, to California, and stayed with me for a night on the way.

I've used CS several times traveling, and it was always an amazing experience! I am so grateful for those people that opened their homes to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some pretty baller people! Mainly when they crashed with me, some abroad. This one dude gave me a personalized tour of his home city of Bogota, Colombia! (Thanks!)

I met up with some couchsurfers in Bhutan, they invited me hiking and camping way up on some mountains (14K feet or so) above Thimphu, the capital.

Interests

Basically anything outdoors that allows me to really connect with nature. Whitewater kayaking is a perfect example, because you are literally part of the river when you are in a boat that small. I like hiking, camping, biking, snow skiing and ultimate frisbee.

I play guitar. Recently I've gotten really into photography.

Of course, I also really just enjoy connecting with other people and discussing life, events, philosophy or whatever else comes up.
