Overview
About Me
My name is Jinesh Piyush Modi, a computer science graduate of Memorial University Newfoundland.
I have always been eager to learn and I have a keen interest in various subjects, from technology and information to arts and literature. I have been trying all through my life, to develop each and every aspect of my personality, to build a multidimensional personality In my perspective, life is all about making a habit out of good behaviours by constantly repeating them. Repetition is the most precious thing about beauties in the world: we enjoy repeated sunrises, repeated rain, sound or the repeated voice of our loved ones, countless times.
As Aristotle once said: “We are what we repeatedly do! Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
However, I enjoy challenging myself with new stuff:
Miracles don't happen in comfort zones, and to live life at its ultimate, one needs to have the courage to step out to taste what life brings up, sweet or bitter!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people, learning about different cultures.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love variant kinds of music. From classical master pieces (Chopin, Brahms and Mahler mostly) to modern pop ones, ( We all start moving a little to Des,Pa,Cito...) but recently I have been listening to country music mostly as it relieves me of the school stress. ( Love Johnny Cash!)
I love all the movies with Shah Rukh Khan in it (A beloved Bollywood Star), but also independent Cinema's movies. My favorite director is Stanley Kubrick and my favorite (Alive) actor is D.D. Lewis ( I am the third revelation... haha;) ) and Christoph Waltz ( au revoir shoshannaaaaaaaaaa )
I normally read motivational and inspirational books. Currently, I am reading "You can achieve more" by Shiv Khera.
Next on the list is: Sam Walton, Made in America!

Teach, Learn, Share
- There is always something to learn from someone, no matter what. and I am interested in learning them all.
- I can teach people Hindi, some Indian dishes, and whatever I am capable of!
-Whatever of mine that is shareable! I can share my good moments with someone if I had nothing material.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my awesome experiences when I came to Canada and how I learned to live independently. I will share hundreds of stories of international students I hear as the University Ambassador.
I want to form an everlasting relationship with my hosts and create a life long bonding.
Also, I will give my all in serving and helping out in the housework of the hosts to trouble them the least.
