About Me

I’m Jing Tang, an exchange student at purdue university recently, and this is actually my first time being America. America is an amazing country with very opening culture and high liberty, which have attracted me deeply and inspired me to make this travel plan along the East Coast. Me and my friends have planed to go backpacking which can allow us to feel and study the local customs and culture closer and better. Meanwhile, we enjoy making friends and share our own culture and stories with others. During this trip, we will mainly stay at San Francisco, Portland and Seattle and will stop over some other cities as well. Looking forward to meeting every unknown you!

I love all types of music and movies. I love music and movies! About books, Journals and documentary writing are my favorite .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve traveled Tibet in China by myself two years ago. Tibet is the most mysterious city in China, with very special nationality and ancient religions and most importantly, an average height between 3000 to 4000meters geophysically.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a part-time Chinese tutor for a while, I love teaching and being a teacher is actually my dream job. By the way, I’m learning Japanese recently, I love learning different languages, in my point of view, language is the first step to know a country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chinese and Japanese food, language and culture. I am very good at cooking Chinese food myself and I like cooking at home rather than eating outside personally. I have believed and kept a healthy diet for years, and I’d like to share the key of cooking Asian food and a healthy eating habit with others.
