ABOUT ME
I love discovering great music. enjoy watching films and discussing them with friends.
I am not an artist but I have big affection for art.
I used to work for a short film(motion graphics/music videos) festival called Resfest in Korea. I am hoping to do something similar again soon.
PHILOSOPHY
we are doomed...but that's okay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got to know CS by some friends that have either surfed or had someone surf at their place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Summer of 08 was my major couchsurfing period. I doubt I would have had that much fun if it weren't for the fellow couchsurfers that kindly let me in their homes and even took time to show me around. It's just awesome to be reminded that there are so many people all around the world that are willing to help out travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: the hours, magnolia, stranger than paradise, chungking express, 400 blows, godfather, city of god, stranger than paradise, waking life, donnie darko....
Wang Kar Wai, Charlie Kaufman, Gus van Sant etc
Music: I believe that there's no end to good music.
I enjoy alternative rock, indie rock/electronia, triphop, rnb, 80s.
some of my favorite artists are pavement, pixies, cure, weezer, girls, low, dinosaur jr, the knife, blur, my bloody valentine, yo la tengo, built to spill, the shins, beck, mum, jon brian, fiona apple..these are what I can think of right now
Books:...unfortunately I am bookophobic.
80% of all the books I've read front to back would probably be textbooks. a victim of modern technology.
But I did enjoy reading some books by Alan de Botton, Salinger and Harper Lee.
Usually i'm more into quotes and checking out lyrics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. driving through death valley/route 66 in America. it was surreal for me because the geographical scenery kept changing. sand dunes, snow mountains and valleys!
2. a random day trip to brighton beach, which turned out to be sooo beautiful! the weather was so nice...i can still remember lying down on the the warm pebbles
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make korean bulgogi or how to do a cartwheel(maybe)
