I'm a nerdy-artsy kind of guy. I try to be nice to other people. It pays off a lot.

Interests

I am interested in all kinds of expression and interpretation in general, and I am a big fan of film, music, game design and programming in particular. I spend a lot of time digging up and going through talks, books, articles and other stimuli which populate the internet. I also enjoy solving interesting problems and exercising my brain by practitioning programming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty inclusive in my enjoyment of cultural artifacts. The more I am familiar with an author, the more I tend to enjoy a piece, be it a movie, song, book or game. Lately, the auteurs in my sights have been the Coen brothers, Gus Van Sant, Neal Stephenson, Jonathan Blow and Bela Tarr.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I filled out some form and ended up spending one year of my life in a country where I didn't know the language and the locals were not so keen on English. I ended up making some great new friends there!
