Born and brought up in Mumbai, have completed my primary and secondary schooling from St. Joseph's High School and degree in B.Com Honors from Mithibai College in Mumbai. I'm well traveled within Mumbai and nearby cities, I'm particularly fond of trying different varieties of food. My work involves frequent trips withing India to places like Kolkata (earlier known as Calcutta), Hyderabad, Delhi, Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru (earlier known as Bangalore), Pune, Nasik, Goa, Haryana & Gujarat and to India's neighboring countries like Bhutan & Nepal. In sports, I follow Cricket. I like to follow the latest news and updates of happenings around the world and try to keep myself updated with the latest happenings in Geo Politics. I love listening to Podcast, I don't watch any web series & watch only news channels or sporting events on television. My summer drink is Beer & I love rum in winters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got to know about Couchsurfing in 2018 via a friend who is a You Tuber as well. He is an active member on Couchsurfer and regularly keeps posting his travel videos. What made me join couchsurfer is the fact that I really liked the way one gets to meet and spend time with people with different interests, culture, traditions, beliefs, languages, food preferences and more.. Which allows you to learn a lot and exchange views. In addition, at times it gets quite monotonous to spend time with people whom you know (friends & family) and meeting a new person is always exciting.

The human evolution process is dependent on this principle "Teach, Learn, Share" . It is only because the knowledge has been passed on that we are enjoying such product innovations and luxurious life. Had our ancestors not transferred their knowledge to the new generation, I believe, we would've been still stuck with making wheels out of tree barks and striking stones for fire. I'm a strong believer in learning new things and about new things, sharing my knowledge with others and encouraging others to teach what they feel they are best at.
