Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

started off with replying and helping some people on the local CS page, made friends, met them, started going for short trips and it grew bigger and now doing dedicated CS trips .
Attended a few cs meets in between.
Some trekking and trips with cs members.
Recently did a sort of CS trip and surfed some amazing couches and met super amazing hosts; and falling in love deeply with couch surfing more and more.

Hosted a few people in Bangalore. Regularly attended Travellers meet at Bangalore. Still looking forwards to do all of this again and again

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

attended a few cs meets.
some trekking and trips with cs members..
and planning a big couch surfing trip.

Yeah.. and executed the plan.
Ever since I actually participated in real couch surfing I am loving it more and more.
The experience was amazing. Never met so many interesting people in my life in such a short span of time.
Met talented interesting people
Learned how beautiful the world can be
Practiced trusting people blindly
Experienced the hospitality of random strangers
and fell in love with couch surfing.

Interests

Travelling, photography, acquiring new experiences and learning something new each time
meeting interesting people and get to know their life.
and to enrich my life..
almost every new things are of interest to me I guess.

Movies : The so called Classics in any languages are my favorite movies.
'Into the Wild', all time favourite.
Cinema paradiso, Majid Majidi movies.. There are a lot to mention, if interested you can go through my collections ;)

Music :I'm kinda universal listener and listen to all kind of music.

Books : I used to read , but nowadays its less.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being part of couch surfing and travelling.
Living twice in a same day ;) [crossing the international day line IDL ]
Crossing the equator.
Basically it all came from sailing in a ship.
A bit of scuba diving.
Long bike trips in monsoon.
Trekking in heavy monsoons and camping at the peak at night(Strong wind, heavy rains and reports of spotting elephants )
Being at the receiving end of random acts of kindness and paid it forward and still doing.
10 days of absolute silence and VIPASANA meditation.

*I have a DSLR camera, if someone is new to this i can teach a thing or two, but im an amateur.
*How to self Publish a book all by yourself.
*How to start a Wordpress blog/Website

LEARN
Learning a new language will be fun. Especially Spanish ;)
Hope to share some personal philosophies, if it doesnt put off the other person :p

Teach me cooking , a new language and anything and everything

Learn : willing to learn what you are going to teach me at my level best.

To share, I have my time and some knowledge I have learned through out these years.
