About Me

Greetings!
I hope you have a day as bright as your smile
I am Jitu Suthar, hailing from the land of India. My academic pursuits led me to Germany where I am currently completing my undergraduate degree in automobile engineering. As I stepped out of my comfort zone and landed in a foreign country, I was hit with an epiphany - the world has so much more to offer than what I've seen and experienced so far!

Driven by this realization, I decided to venture out and meet people from different walks of life, cultures, and countries. That's where Couchsurfing comes in! Being a part of this global community has opened up doors to incredible experiences and amazing people from around the world. With my travels spanning several countries in Asia and Europe, I've learned more about the world than I could ever have imagined.

I firmly believe that positive interactions with people from different backgrounds can lead to tremendous personal growth and I'm excited to connect with fellow travelers on Couchsurfing. So, let's share our stories, learn from each other, and make some unforgettable memories!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"As a traveler, I believe that the best way to truly experience a new city is by immersing oneself in its local culture and community. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing - to connect with like-minded hosts who can offer insights, tips, and recommendations on the hidden gems and local hotspots of their city.

After all, who better than a local host to help you discover the heart and soul of a place? From off-the-beaten-path attractions to authentic cuisine and local traditions, I'm excited to learn from my hosts and explore the unique aspects of each city I visit. So, if you're a local host who loves to share your city's secrets with curious travelers, let's connect!

Interests

"I'm a curious and adventurous person who loves to explore the world around me. Whether I'm perfecting my volleyball serves, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or tinkering with electronics through a 'trial-and-error' approach to see what makes them tick, I'm always up for a good challenge. Admittedly, my tinkering can sometimes result in some shocking surprises or unintentional destruction, but that's all part of the fun, right? Despite the occasional mishap, I'm always eager to learn and explore new things, and I'm excited to connect with fellow adventurers on my couchsurfing journey."

Music, Movies, and Books

"I'm a big fan of all kinds of music, but some of my favorites include Ben Howard, Nkdad, Angus and Julia Stone, Chill Nation, and anything Indie or Country. When it comes to movies, I love thought-provoking films like Ted, The Philosophy of Everything, and The Imitation Game, as well as darker thrillers like Orphan and Tumbbad. And if you're looking for book recommendations, I highly recommend Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. I'm always up for discussing music, movies, and books with fellow travelers, and I'm excited to see what new recommendations I'll come across on my Couchsurfing journey."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Think you've seen the most romantic movie ever? Challenge accepted. Tell me the name of the most heart-stirring film you've ever watched, and I'll share with you some of my own real-life romantic experiences. From unexpected encounters to grand gestures of affection, I've lived through some truly unforgettable moments of love and passion. So, are you ready to see how my stories compare to Hollywood's finest?"

Teach, Learn, Share

"I'm happy to share my cooking skills with you, but sorry, the food on my plate is not up for grabs - I love it too much! So, join me in the kitchen for a fun culinary adventure, and let's whip up some delicious dishes together. Just don't expect me to share my secret recipes - those are for my taste buds only!" 😉

What I Can Share with Hosts

"I'm always eager to share my insights and knowledge about Indian culture, as well as my favorite TED Talk on achieving financial freedom. Of course, language exchange and cooking together are also great ways to connect and share experiences. So, if you're interested in learning more about Indian customs, discussing financial empowerment, or simply enjoying a home-cooked meal with a new friend, I'm happy to share what I can during our time together!"
