I was born and so far I've lived my whole life in Brno, except for that half a year I spent in Finland, Joensuu (can that be listed as "lived in"?). I know all the good cafés here and enjoy working in the city centre.
We moved in together with my boyfriend recently, so we have like half the furniture we'd need and we're fine with that. At least for the summer. It's too hot to decorate. So we aren't comfortable hosting, (yet).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Our primal motive was to get some "couch(es)" to sleep on on our trip in Sweden. We were hoping to get to know some locals to enhance our experince there, but even if that didn't work out for us Sweden was sooo amazing!
And I am open for a casual meeting over coffee/kofola/beer/wine... here in Brno. I can show you some great local cafés (that mostly turn into bars come evening) or take you to see some local sights.
In the future I (we both!) also hope to host.

Interests

Hm, I like to cook (we both do), I like to play floorball, volleyball , football, though I am not very good in any of them. Skiing and yoga. I love reading. I spend too much time on 9gag. I like to draw/paint.

I think I got a liiiitle bit too specific on this...
Books: currently I am diving intoThe Magicians, :-) I like fantasy, so LOTR and Hobbit, HP, The Song of Ice and Fire, His Dark Materials, Terry Pratchett's books... and also fairy tales. But basically I read anything that gets recommended. The Martian was great. And I read fast if the plot is good. In Czech, English or German.
Music: Swing-y, happy, kinda calm music too... Queen, Mika, Norah Jones, Taylor Swift (older songs), Mumfords, sometimes Sting or Enya. I also really like Christmas Carols :-)
Movies: Forrest Gump, Practical Magic, Ponyo on the Cliff, Star Wars, Death Becomes Her... Many!
TV Shows, hm?: Doctor Who, Sherlock, Elementary, Castle, Supernatural, TBBT, GOT, Simpsons, Outlander from the past: Hart of Dixie, True Blood, Gossip Girl of Gilmore Girls, HIMYM, Buffy (hehe), Futurama
Inuyasha, Love Hina, Chii's Sweet Home....well, some manga. And anime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard one. I'll have to thing about it.
Probably the half a year i spent in Finland. It was one amazing experience after another. First I didn't know anyone there! I saw Santa. I was cart riding on ice and snow. I petted reindeer – an (adult) friend of mine really thought they were only in fairytales :-) I did crazy hot sauna and ice cold lake swimming.
