About Me
Hello! My name is Jiwon Min , I’m from South Korea, 21 years old studying civil engineering. I was an exchange student in Chicago, Illinois tech this spring. I also lived in Vietnam during my middle school and went back to Korea.
Before coming to US as an exchange student, I didn’t know I like to travel but after exploring chicago and many other cities I LOVE TO TRAVEL ❤️ what I realized the best part of my travel is to listen to many different experiences and share culture. I gained a lot from meeting people that I can never talk in my daily lives. I like to talk and a very good listener so I can be your buddy whenever you are bored 🥰
My hobbies are playing piano, bowling, thrifting and working out. I was a vice president of band club in Incheon National University. So I have a lot of experiences in band performances. My highest bowling score is 150. I’m also very very interested in fashion so I like to look at what others wear.
In Illinois tech, I was in a sorority Kappa Phi Delta, was a marking executive in Pakistan Student Association and volunteered in elementary school for reading club. Moreover, I’m currently a member of National Society of Leadership and Success.
If you are ever interested in k-pop or k-drama, I will be the perfect guide for you !! Let’s share together 🔥😎
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The only reason that I’m on Couchsurfing is to meet diverse people out of my comfort zone. I like to have as many experience as I can. I think the quickest and easiest way is to listen about other’s life. But when I’m with my friends or family, I found out that it’s really hard to learn about new things.
Moreover, I think it’s fun to get to know about someone and make friends from all over the country. I can speak english and korean so you wouldn’t have to worry about communication at all.
