About Me

Currently passing through Türkiye, I’m living on my bike, carrying all the essentials for survival.

I’m on my way back home to Seoul 🇰🇷,
from Germany, with my bike and my best friend, Levin.

You can check his account on my friend list.

I graduated from fashion design university in Korea and worked in the fashion industry for four years. However, I quit because I had a vision to establish my own company that creates bikepacking wear.

After quitting, I embarked on a pilgrimage to the Camino de Santiago to rediscover my humanity, which I had lost during my hard-working era. (Back then, I worked like a machine, around 13 hours a day🙂‍↕️)

Thanks to that pilgrimage, I met my great companion to embark on this long journey together, and here we are! 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

“The only thing I could ever need, the only one worth striving to be—it’s love.”

This is a line from my favorite song by Sara Bareilles, “Bottle it up.” I completely agree with that sentiment.

Hosting from Couchsurfing is like traveling the world from the comfort of my own home. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, learning about their traditions, and understanding their perspectives. It’s an opportunity to connect with good people and gain insights into their lives. I find the process of getting close to others and sharing ideas incredibly stimulating. Just thinking about it makes me excited.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can’t formally teach Korean, but I can share a few little tricks to sound more local.

For example, if you say “nya-seo~” with the right tone and rhythm, Koreans will totally get that you mean “hello,” even though you’re not saying the full word “annyeonghaseyo”

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share how to travel with bike in many countries.
If you let me use your kitchen, I can cook some delicious pasta for you👩🏻‍🍳
