ABOUT ME

Hey,
i´m Jacky and i´m 24 years old and from a little town in Germany, since i start to study i live in Mainz in my own little flat.
I´m always open for new experiences and peoples. I love to travel and try to explorer a new country every year in my summer holidays. In my spare time i meet friends, got to cinema or do different kind of sports(jogging, swimming, dancing, yoga). And at least i love to eat and cook. I would love to get to know new people and culturs and use my english, to become more fluent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just love the idea of Couchsurfing from the first second, even if i didn´t used it till now. The most important reasons why i love the idea is ,that i don´t like to see the coutries/cities i visit just like a typical tourist, i would love to see it like a local does, thats more interesting to me. And perhaps it helps me to improve my english :).

I just can host guests in emergencies or for one night cause my flat is really small and only consists of one room, which is used as kitchen, bedroom and livingroom. It´s just possible to sleep on a mattress on the floor or in my bed. I live in the historic center of Mainz, just about two minutes away from the dome, the riverside of the Rhein and many restaurants or clubs. I could show you great jogging routes, the best ice cream in town and all the great secondhand stores.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don´t have many own experiences with CouchSurfing, but i met a guy here in my town, greetings to Matt, that stayed in Munich for a while and traveld through Europe just by CouchSufing and he told me only good things and so did a friend of mine. So i´m hopefull to get to know more nice people by CouchSurfing and perhaps to realize some of my travel plans.

Interests

I love sport, i lift, run, swim and dance, but i´m also open for every other sport. Although i´m not that talented, i love to cook and to eat as well. Both of this i also like to do with my friends. I also like to read books and watch movies or TV series.
When i´m abroad i love to hike or just walk through the town/city and go to museums. Also i`m always interested to try local food. On the sea i like to go on boat trips as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was realy impressed by the Colloseum and the Forum Romanum in Rome, its unbeliveable what people can built without any modern technique, some goes for Egypt, where i was on a Nil Cruise in March 16, one of my best holidays.
Also hiking on Mallorca was unbelivable, it´s crazy how most people just know the "Ballerman" and make party there, when the nature on the island is so beautiful and there are so many great paths.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m not good in teaching others, because i´m a bit impatient.
But i could definitely teach german and perhaps a bit of dancing.

As you can see my english need to be improved.
