About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I aim to be as immature as possible, apart from in serious circumstances, such as eating or playing music. I try my best (and fail) to fill my time with things that are worth doing. Traveling is definitely one of those things, I constantly wish I was on the other side of the world, which is why I am on here. I want to learn!

PHILOSOPHY

I am only 22, too young to have one yet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the summer of 2009 I spent two and a half weeks travelling around Italian cities which was incredible. I have also couchsurfed in Norway which was great, what scenery!!!! Also travelled around Croatia using couchsurfing, and I have hosted in London. Sadly I can't host at the moment, since I live on a campus in a tiny room in the middle of nowhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hearing our host play guitar as we woke up each morning, cycling around Oslo, long conversations with new and interesting friends, its all good.

Interests

Music! Music! Music! I play jazz piano and french horn, and love learning, dancing, talking, playing... Also, cooking, reading, sailing, walking, anything stupid, anything outdoors, anything fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Keith Jarrett, Bach, Radiohead, Brad Mehldau, Bobby Mcferrin, Sibelius, Mahler, Nina Simone, Faure, anything from any genre that is GOOD.

I aspire to be Hugh Laurie.

Books: as many as possible, try to have one on the go all the time. Some good ones are Dune by Frank Herbert and Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky, The Magus by John Fowles.

Hero, Jungle Book, Pulp fiction, fight club. The count of Monte Cristo is a childhood favourite. Lord of the Rings! 2001, A space Odyssey.

Open to new culture!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent two months farming in the arctic circle on a tiny island in Norway, it turned me into a, er, adult.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught sailing, maths, and music, and can teach any of those to you!
