ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old male. I enjoy sports, outdoors, people, and having fun. I am a high school math teacher. I love my job. I love helping others.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, and by live, I mean, LIVE! Go out and take chances. Risk. Seek adventure. You will never know if you do not try and you certainly don't want to live life wondering "what if?" You can learn from anybody, yes every single person. I don't care if the person is a serial killer or an infant, you can learn something. I enjoy trying to learn about other cultures, and I try to be very open to new things. On the JMT, we met some Korean people who were absolutely awesome and fascinating to talk to.

I am rather new to CS, but I look forward to meeting new people and learning from them.

Interests

Backpacking, rock climbing, sports, math, music, movies, people.

Last Summer, I completed the John Muir Trail with a friend: 19 days and around 260 miles of backcountry. It was awesome. There is so much beauty in nature that a lot of people do not get to experience, it is unfortunate. I consider this one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. It was certainly the most mentally challenging thing I have ever been a part of.

I love rock climbing. I have aspirations of climbing the Gran Tetons and the face of halfdome within the next 3 years.
