Overview
About Me
Holly and JJ are two fans of international travel, hoping to eventually reach everywhere. JJ is a fan of startup business and currently works in helping families start local businesses to support unconventional lifestyles. Holly is a pre-med psychology major interested in someday helping save lives (as one usually wishes when trying to become a doctor). She currently works as a lab tech studying skin and is also a part time waitress at a local Wisco diner full of nice people. (You can tell JJ wrote this because he doesn't know the technical terms for her skin regeneration research.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are hoping to find nice people to host us for a few days as we travel across the East Coast. After that JJ hopes to travel more of East Asia and Holly hopes to head back to Germany and visit Albania (home to the most coffee shops per capita! As a scientist it is only fair that Holly has a major caffeine dependency. One might even call it an addiction, but not no one who sleeps next to her.)
Music, Movies, and Books
Chance the Rapper, Oh Wonder, Lord Huron, Peach Scone is a fun song if you want to listen to it. Frank Ocean. Oceans 11, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, whichever movies Holly puts in when she gets around to filling out her portion of this ;P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
JJ- been an English teacher in Chengdu, China. Holly- lived in Germany as a child, became a researcher studying mice while in highschool.
Teach, Learn, Share
A group of box jellyfish is called a fluke because they actually aren’t technically jellyfish. The reason for this being that they actively pursue their prey in packs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An ability to play the ukulele and sing. A passion for cooking and deep conversation (most people would consider it deep but to be honest it's just fun to ask questions and go back and forth on feelings/philosophy around the world.)
Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
