Overview
About Me
I am a young professional working and traveling when time permits. I try to stay active year round, with Spartan races in the summer/fall seasons, and skating/snowboarding in the winter. I've explored my own city a fair bit and I have the desire to explore others! Hikes, and new adventures are my latest endeavor. I'm not great at small talk, and I'm not told not great at telling stories. But I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and I'm an open book in that respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to travel on a budget, learn more about other cultures, and experience what the world has to offer. I am open to hosting work permitting. I'm also amazed by the welcome and genuine people I've met through couchsurfing, and I look forward to meeting more. One of my dreams is to have friends across the globe to visit and travel with year round!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not musically inclined, however, I enjoy all sorts of music depending on the mood. Late 90's and early 2000's bring me back to a time to remember. Mostly, I enjoy top 40s but I've been introduced to some various music genres with friends.
Top movie would have to be Foot Loose the original, although I've enjoyed both. Something about that movie really connects with me.
Unfortunately, I don't have a large repertoire of books I've read. I'd have to say the Harry Potter series has definitely the most impact. And I really enjoyed The Prince by Machiavelli.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfing in Costa Rica has to be one of the best learning experiences. I won't be tackling and giant waves any time soon, but it was an experience to remember. Hiked a volcano in Guatemala once. And I lived in a jungle in Thailand for a time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Living as a student for almost ten years while I figured out what I wanted to do taught me an abundance of budgeting skills. It also allowed me to experience and meet a variety of people.
I'm always interested in learning new cultures, rituals, and history. Languages are definitely something I would like to learn more of.
I can share any skills I might have. I've been told I'm more handy than most, and I enjoy a good puzzle or problem to solve in a creative way!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some basics like a mean grilled cheese, or eggs any style, or avocado toast! I'm also happy to work for my stay if you need help moving things, cleaning, organizing, and even babysitting for short times! I'm also fairly tech savvy, and I can often help figure out what the "technical" issue may be.
