ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty energetic individual and I'm usually quite happy and bubbly. I enjoy trying new activities and learning more about activities I'm already involved in. I love to spend time with curious people who want to share knowledge and their favourite activities. My varied professional occupations (Carpentry and Nursing) keep me busy when not travelling. I also have a fiancé who loves travelling and previously worked for an airline! Together, we are trying to adventure more than usual this Summer, as we will soon be parents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and learning about how they live in their city. As a student in university in Montreal, Canada, I could not travel as much, so my roommate and I hosted on Couchsurfing instead. We would create maps and adventures for our guests to explore our city while we were in class and invite them to our potlucks and parties in the evenings, and it was as exciting to share our home as it was to visit others. Once I graduated, I travelled to Europe, Mexico and Ireland, and predominantly went through Couchsurfing. It made the experience so much richer. I LOVED the people I met, it felt like visiting family. The adventures, exchanges and experiences we shared far outweigh what we would have experienced in a hotel or resort. I hope to continue to meet people and visit new countries and cities through this platform.

Interests

I have many interests and always seeking out more, but here are some activities that come to mind in no particular order... climbing, hiking, rowing, carpentry, boardgames, beginner juggling, yoga, music, cooking, knitting, crafts, gardening, skateboarding, drawing, reading, and many more once I can think of them :)
