Overview
About Me
I am a simple guy, with simple rules and minimal expectations. I enjoy movies, beaches and conversations over beer that can lead to friendship. I am interested in meeting people from all over the world and sharing ideas and experiences. Like someone rightly said, 'strangers are friends waiting to be introduced'. Im a native of kerala and currently living in Delhi. This is not my first time here and I know how to get around, but I haven't explored this city much, so maybe we could do a little bit of that together. I have also travelled quite a bit in India. Can help you around or meet up for dinner, depending on whether I am free.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is a small world, and I believe good things go around. So call me selfish, but I am here to help people so that good returns to me. ;) You wanna call it Karma? .
But then I expect basic decency from guests. I expect them to not stay out late (beyond 11PM, unless if it is with me). I expect them to leave the space they used, as it was. I expect them to be clean. I expect them to cook their own food if staying for more than a day or two. I expect them to be kind to my parents and pets who also sometimes live in the house. And it would be nice to show a little gratitude by getting the house something. Anything. Like maybe a greeting card or some flowers or maybe even something that can be used by the next surfer. It's not the worth, but the gesture.
I usually like to spend time with my surfers when in the house. But there could be occasions where I cant spare time because of work. But this will be discussed before-hand.

Music, Movies, and Books
hmmm, Im not a books person, and movies are too many to list here. But still, to name a few-12 angry men, kung fu panda, god father, departed, catch me if you can, the reader, raging bull, mad max, Argo, apocalypto, the quest for fire, the Mongol, the walk, captain Phillip, cast away, terminal, inception, Shawshank redemption, Gandhi, the love guru, terminator, the last of the Mohicans, conjuring, the great debate, 12 years a slave, the prestige, machine gun preacher, notebook, Gravity, flight, how to train your dragon, war horse, kill the Irishman, sound of music. Now that's not too many I guess.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo bike ride to the northeastern part of India and a 2 month train journey across most of South India.
Update: on my trip to Cape Town I got robbed. But it turned out to be one of the best trips I've ever had. I made plenty of friends and had no deficiencies for the three days when I had no cash on me.
Update: on my trip to China I did the usual get-drunk-and-miss-your-flight adventure and was rescued by a Chinese girl I'd just met.
Teach, Learn, Share
Pharmacology-yeah that's a bit boring I'd admit. Now I base my work on my degree. But soon I wish to leave this and get into something different. I believe that there is so much to learn in this world. Even through just a conversation. I could share with you whatever I have learned through my travel. I could give you general instructions about travel in India that lonely planet will not know. And I could share my space with you in return for your friendship.
