About Me

I'm an easygoing open-minded guy who loves mountain bike, hiking, listening / discovering music and traveling.

Remotely working as a tech lead/developer at talenteca.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel and meet new people easily, share cool experiences, know the city as a local and make friends.

Whenever I can Im into bikepacking, travel self-sufficient by bike, so it seems this is a good platform to meet people that are into it and share stories, tips..

Also, Im open to meet surfers that are interested in doing these activities while traveling:
* Mountain bike
* Concerts and music festivals
* Coworking at my place or any cafeteria around
So just drop me a line and we can setup something

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pink Floyd, Medeski Martin & Wood, John Zorn, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, BB King, Sal y Mileto, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, The Skatalites, The Slackers... I'm into anything related to Jazz, Blues, Rock, Ska and Reggae .
I have listened a lot of music from everywhere , we could talk a lot or spend a good time sharing music

Movies: 12 Monkeys, Inception, Interstellar, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Ratas Ratones y Rateros, Que tan Lejos (incredible Ecuador flicks) .

Books: I don't have a favorite one, yet. Interested in books like 1984 by Orwell or Little Brother by Cory Doctorow. I read Historias de cronopios y de famas by Cortazar; it blowed and opened my mind and made me be interested in reading related author/novels. Now I'm trying to read books from Ecuadorian writers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My girlfriend and I did el Camino de Santiago by bike, from San Sebastian to Santiago , around ~800km biking along the Mar Cantábrico. beautiful and positive experience. It was a trip that made us realize that we love to travel by bike (that's one of the reasons we would like to use CoachSurfing) and learn that we don't have to plan everything in advance to have a unique and wonderful experience; just raise your head, smile, keep pedaling and let it flow ; )
